Ekta refuses to comment on Shweta Prasad episode

The Shweta Prasad Basu episode seemed to have initiated many media debates and everyone who was anyone had an opinion to share. But apparently Ekta Kapoor doesn't want to comment on it.

Besides doing substantial roles in Bollywood films like Iqbal and Makdee, Shweta Prasad Basu had also acted in Ekta Kapoor's ace show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii which aired on Star Plus. Her claim to fame was playing Parvati's (Sakshi Tanwar) daughter Shruti in the show.

Upon being asked to comment on the recent controversy where Shweta was caught in a sex scandal, Ekta Kapoor refused to indulge. She said, "I am not going to comment on this issue and I don't want to comment on that poor girl." In fact the question caused her such distress that she stomped out of the interview, fury writ on her face.
