Haider is set against the backdrop of unrest in the Kashmir valley and revolves around a guy called Haider who wants to avenge his father's murder at the hands of his uncle. An adaptation of William Shakespeare's play Hamlet, the film stars Shraddha Kapoor as Shahid's love interest. The film has already become a hit in B-town. Ever the one to support budding talent, Amitabh Bachchan was oresent for the special screening of the film and had very nice things to say about the actress. Bachchan took to Twitter to applaud the movie. "Haider: a special film.. exceptional performances .. and such an intelligent adaptation.. !!" the 71-year-old actor tweeted. Apart from that, Ayushmann Khurrana who was equally excited having watched the film, tweeted, "Watched #Haider. Vishal sir take a bow! @ShraddhaKapoor is so natural & pretty in the film!
