Annabelle is the prequel to the hit Hollywood horror fest The Conjuring. One of the most awaited horror movies of the year, Annabelle promises spine-chilling thrill. A word of advice would be to watch the previously released film before watching its prequel, as it would help you connect the dots as the film progresses. If you have seen the sequel, you will also know that the film concludes with the promise of another story what with the crank toy working on its own accord. The doll from the spooky treasure trove plays the starring role in the prequel and the film has received rave reviews around the world. The story begins in 1967 with John and Mia Gordon expecting their first child. John gives Mia a doll for her collection which eventually turns out to be haunted. Things worsen as a murder in their neighbourhood is connected to the doll and they make every effort to get rid of it but in vain.

Jigariyaa is a romantic film set in the '80s and inspired from real life events. Already appreciated by Rohit Shetty and Rajkumar Hirani, the film can be worth a watch looking at all the colourful posters and the promise of a captivating script. Jigariyaa is the story of a happy-go-lucky boy Shaamu (Harshvardhan Deo) and the well-educated girl Raadha (Cherry Mardia) set up in the city of Taj - Agra. While Shaamu is a self-claimed shaayar and is only praised by his motley group of friends, Raadha hails from Mathura and helps her father in social work. The movie is about destiny that first brings them close only to pull them apart.

Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami is for those looking for some hatke cinema. The film celebrates the spirit of a common man who works honestly all his life but yearns for recognition and respect. As two sons come together to give their father (Anupam Kher) the ultimate respect of a 21 gun salute, the film also promises to showcase the father-son bond in a beautiful way. This is a film with a social message, put across in a light-hearted manner. Neha Dhupia also has a peppy item number in the film. Do not forget to take your father for this one.

Tamanchey is a much talked about love story with a twist. Going by Richa Chadda's earlier choice of films, this one promises to be interesting. She plays Babu in the film that stars Nikhil Dwivedi as her love interest. Tamanchey is a quirky love story of two escaped outlaws who cross eachother paths and ultimately fall in love. They steal, loot and con people and are running from the police but are forced to co-operate with each other against their own will. Directed by Navneet Behal, this unconventional love story can be a fun watch.
