Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's post-pregnancy weight-gain had become a subject of national debate. While Aishwarya chose to keep mum about the constant comments on her weight gain, she let her style do the talking at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014. Aishwarya turned heads with her scintillating red-carpet appearance at the festival wearing a gold Roberto Cavalli off-shoulder dress. Brown curls and neon red lipstick added to the oomph factor. Bollywood's most iconic couple, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, grabbed eyeballs with their little act of PDA at a popular Award show in January, 2014. Known for keeping their personal life 'private' and never indulging in anything even remotely controversial, the Bachchan couple hit headlines when the camera captured them kissing in public. The picture soon went viral and kept making news for days. And while there were reports claiming that it was merely the wrong camera angle, the picture suggested otherwise.

While Bollywood's golden couple, Jaya and Amitabh were clicked kissing each other at the Award function, what followed was even more unexpected. Amitabh and Rekha, decided to bury the hatchet and greeted each other publicly after 33 years. The duo had reportedly been giving each other the cold shoulder ever since the rumours of them being more than just good friends started making rounds. What caught the shutterbugs completely off-guard was Jaya Bachchan's warm gesture towards Rekha at the same event. Soon after Big B greeted Rekha with a formal namaste, Jaya Bachchan went up to the actress, shook hands with her and even hugged her in public.

While Shakira proved that hips don't lie, it was our very own Anushka, who proved that lips don't lie either. Anushka Sharma's appearance on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan created a stir. Her fuller lips sparked off rumours of her having gone under the knife. However, even after several days, when the rumours refused to die down, Anushka decided to speak about it. She wrote a clarification on Twitter and insisted that the enhancement had just been done for a role and was temporary.

Aamir Khan left very little to the imagination with the very first poster of PK. Standing buck naked on the railway tracks, covering his bare essentials with a transistor, Aamir seemingly knew how to attract attention! The picture soon went viral and social media was abuzz with debates over deciding where to draw the line between creativity and obscenity. A case had also been filed against Aamir for promoting nudity through the poster.

Just like last year, this year too the Khan duo happily posed for the shutterbugs. PK: Salman comes out in support of the film

/pk-film-industry-supports-the-film/eventshow/45698250.cms

01

Aamir Khan's film PK has been courting controversies ever since it released on December 19. The critically acclaimed film is also doing well at the box-office. However, according to reports, not everyone is happy with the film's content as they think it hurts their religious sentiments. In an attempt to protest against the film, Bajrang Dal activists have apparently vandalized prominent theatres that were screening the film in Ahmedabad and Bhopal. The activists were caught on camera damaging theatres in the city. However, the film industry has lent its support to the film and some of them have even criticised the attack. The controversy over the film doesn't seem to stop. Celebrities are tweeting in support of the film.

Aamir's close friend, Salman Khan, in support of the film, tweeted, "Is PK not an amazzziiiiing film?"

Pooja Bedi wrote, "God wants SPIRITUAL FRUIT.. not RELIGIOUS NUTS!! LLet's support #PK"
"I love the bit in #PK when aamir says.. God creatd earth, planets. Galaxies &universes & u a mortal are "protecting" that gigantic force?"

Uday Chopra ‏tweeted, "What a wonderful film #PK is…just saw it and I'm bowled over by it. It is the most important film that every Indian should see. Salute!"

Actor Ranvir Shorey posted, "I would say these morons vandalising against PKshould go get jobs, except that we all know this is their livelihood."

Bollywood producer Ritesh Sidhwani tweeted, "PK is a must watch. I am a believer and nowhere does it hurt our sentiments or questions religion. In fact it teaches you to love. And not fear in the name of God. What it rightfully does is questions the so called messengers and their role between us and our belief."

Shekhar Kapur wrote, "I found PK very entertaining. But I still admire the amazing selfless work some of our spiritual leaders are doing for our people #PKdebate," filmmaker Shekhar Kapur said.

Filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted, "Attacking a duly censored film has to stop!!! What kind of a democracy are we living in?? No film should be targeted or be allowed to..,#PK."

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri also tweeted against the attack. He wrote, "If we all are so enlightened than why do we need a film like #pk to question the pimps of religion. Isn't it common sense? All those gundas attacking cinema halls showing #pk must be arrested immediately and locked up with Asaram."

Raj Nayak, CEO of Colors, also extended his support to the film by tweeting, "In Progressive India 2014, I don't understand the concept of ban. Even the Supreme court says don't watch the film if you don't like it! #PK"

Anurag Kashyap too has come all out in support of PK and said in an interview, "Anybody who is shown the mirror will always feel offended. But the amazing thing about the film is that it is so clever. Clearly, it has done so well that anybody who stands up and says, 'This film offends me,' it shows them that the film was right."

Anurag is all praise for Hirani and calls him daring to take on a subject like religion, God and Godmen in PK. "Raju and everybody (Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Aamir Khan) are brave filmmakers because they went on and took something on hands that we all are afraid of taking. He has done it with such good humour and and fun that it is reaching out to who it should reach out to," he added.

He feels it's high time people stop getting offended every now and then about a film's content. "It's high time that we stop getting so offended all the time...our offence being politically motivated. Let things be (as they are)...allow every kind of debate and dissent to exist within our society," Kashyap said.

Aamir Khan, who is known for portraying his roles with perfection, says he respect all religions. "We respect all religions. All my Hindu friends have seen the film and they have not felt the same. Even Raju is Hindu, so is Vinod and so is Abhijat. In fact 99% of the crew was Hindu. No one would have done such a thing," he had clarified in an interview.

In an Interview to DNA, Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani had explained his point-of-view with which the film was made.
Rajkumar Hirani said, "We have not done anything for which people can tell we have deliberately hurt anyone's religious sentiments. The core idea of the film is just that we are not born with a birthmark proclaiming we are Hindus or Muslims or Sikhs or Christians. It is just that like a baby is born without any pre-conceived notions and is made to follow a certain lifestyle and perform certain rituals, we decided to have Aamir as an alien which meant he too did not have any idea or notions about what religion is here on Earth. A newborn baby is taught to follow certain rules and act according to one's religious traditions. When they grow up and have their own set of ideologies, they think their ways or methods are right and others are wrong. To a Hindu, some ritual might be done in a certain manner or something might be considered sacred. But for Muslims, it might be something else. That is what we tried to portray that our ways are different, not by choice, but our faith remains the same."

In an IANS report, Boman Irani said that he's happy that PK had managed to engage people in a discussion over sensitive issues such as religion, God and Godmen. The actor, who has worked with Raju Hirani in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots and is also a part of PK, says people should respect a director's point of view.
Boman says, "Any film worth a debate is a good film. It is a point-of-view and you have to respect that. Of course people will protest and create controversy. Everybody will do. But it is so nice because everybody is having discussion about it and anything worth a debate is a good film. Rajkumar Hirani films will always have something to think about. You agree or disagree with the film or you like or dislike a film, that's a different thing but his films will atleast make you think. His films will make you re-assess your own values and re-evaluate yourselves saying, 'May be he is right may be he is wrong but I am thinking'. And that thought has to be respectful because he is respecting the audience."

According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Jacqueline Fernandez has spoken in support of Salman Khan after his controversial Sri Lanka visit during which he campaigned for the country's incumbent President Mahinda Rajapaksa, and was branded a 'traitor' by Tamil leader Vaiko in India. Pictures of Salman Khan and his Kick leading lady, Jacqueline with Mahinda Rajapaksa went viral online. Across the border this was seen as a last-ditch effort by the President to boost his prospects in the upcoming elections scheduled for January 8, states the report. Inviting the ire of Tamil parties, DMK and MDMK, Salman was dubbed as a "betrayer" and a "traitor" following the 'special appearance,' the report further states. Talking up for the actor, Jacqueline said that it was she who insisted that Salman extend the efforts of his Being Human charity to parts of her home country too, states Mirror. The report quoted Jacqueline as saying, "That was the main purpose of this visit. Salman donated 200 lenses to facilitate cataract operations in certain under-privileged areas. He also donated money. It bothers me that people can't see the good in any initiative. All they want to do is identify an ulterior agenda behind every good cause," According to the report, when asked further about the campaign, Jacqueline retorted, "Salman is an individual in his own right who knows both Rajapaksa and his son Namal well. If he wants to drum up support for Rajapaksa that's his choice and nobody can question it."

Here are some other controversies that Bollywood celebrities have been mired in...

Reportedly, the yesteryear actress was caught in a drug raid in Kenya, as reported in Mumbai Mirror. According to a report on mumbaimirror.com, sources revealed that the drug bust in Kenya, following which Vivek Goswami, husband of yesteryear actress Mamta Kulkarni was arrested, was made after a tip-off from gangster Dawood Ibrahim. The Mumbai police officials said that they received the crucial information that Kenya police got tipped off by Dawood himself. Apart from Goswami, his close friend and partner in the narcotic business, Barkat Akaash, and Pakistani drug lord Gulam Husain were also arrested, the report states. According to the police, Dawood and company stumbled upon Akaash and his brother who were looking for Goswami. They could not trace Goswami, but took a chance as they were sure that once the cops arrest Akaash, Goswami wouldn't be far from reach. Accordingly, they tipped off the Kenya police who passed on the information to the United States drug enforcement unit. In a joint operation, the traffickers were picked up. Though Mamta Kulkarni was present with her husband at the time of his arrest, she was detained only for questioning, concludes the report.

In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, photographer Jayesh Sheth talks about the former Bollywood star and the infamous photo shoot where she posed topless for a magazine cover. The photographer revealed that when most A-list actresses in B-town refused to do this shoot, Mamta had agreed. "I suggested Mamta's name, pointing out her innocent face and sexy body," reminisces Jayesh. Adding, "It was a shortcut to success. Mamta was soon competing with another promising contender, Divya Bharti." Jayesh further stated in his interview to Mumbai Mirror that this shoot had made Mamta an overnight star and fetching her films with top heroes of the time - from Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan to Govinda. "The last time we met, she told me she wanted to get filthy rich." Mamta Kulkarni is said to have briefly disappeared, only to return with Rajkumar Santoshi's Ghatak. Further to reports in Mumbai Mirror, she later got embroiled in a controversy with Tinu Verma and vanished again for two years. "Then one fine day she was back in my studio, wanting to do a photo shoot. I could see she was not in good shape, physically, and it was her do-or-die attempt. While at my studio she got a call from Dubai. After putting the phone down, she told me she planned to go abroad and get filthy rich. That was the last conversation we had, back in 1996," said Jayesh. There were also rumours that Mamta had gone insane and had settled in Dubai. Some reports suggested that she had become a sanyasin. Now, the photographer is penning the script for his film which is about a struggling actress who makes it big and then disappears from the screen. "That's the subject of my second film and the protagonist has definitely been inspired by Mamta Kulkarni. I was just putting the finishing touches to the script when I heard that she has been traced to Kenya," says Jayesh. "I was shocked but not really surprised. But now, given this fresh twist in her story, I'll have to make some changes in the climax of my film," concludes the photographer.
Here's a look at some other celebs including Mamta Kulkarni who have been embroiled in controversies.

With the news doing the rounds that yesteryear actress Mamta Kulkarni was arrested, the media went crazy. Mamta was reportedly taken into custody by the Kenyan police along with husband Vijay 'Vicky' Goswami, on charges of drug trafficking. But according to Mumbai Mirror, that while her husband has indeed been arrested after a major drug bust undertaken by the US Drug Enforcement Administration and the National Police Service of Kenya, Mamta was not detained. Citing a leading Kenyan daily, the Mumbai Mirror report says that the suspects were picked up in Nyali, Mombasa, at the residence of Baktash and Ibrahim Abdalla. The two Kenyan nationals were arrested, along with Goswami and another Indian national, Kulam Hussein. The head of the unit investigating the case, Hamisi Massa, told the local press that the 'suspects are liable to charges of conspiracy to traffic narcotic drugs in the US and Kenya and if found guilty, will attract severe penalties.' Cliff Ombeta, the lawyer representing the accused, including Goswami, admitted that Mamta was present in the house during the raid, but said that she was not arrested or detained. Speaking from Mombosa, he told Mirror, "The lady was present in the house in Nyali when the police raided it. But no drugs were found there. The police arrested the Abdalla brothers, Vijay Goswami and Kulam Hussein based on an earlier raid in Nairobi. They will be in police custody for 14 days." He added, "The US agencies want to extradite them so the trial can take place in a New York court. We will strongly oppose that." Mirror tried to reach the Kenyan Director of Public Prosecutions to verify the lawyer's claim, but they chose not to comment. When Mirror asked if Mamta can be jailed, considering that she is Goswami's wife, Ombeta asserted, "She has nothing to do with the offence. Therefore, she wasn't taken to the police station. She is in her house and absolutely free."

Gossip mongers got a lot to discuss when Jaya Bachchan recently tagged her son Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan-starrer blockbuster Happy New Year a nonsensical film. To add to this, a recent article in Asian Age says that Shah Rukh Khan retorted to Jaya Bachchan's comment saying that even Amitabh Bachchan's cult film Amar Akbar Anthony was considered a nonsensical film at that time.
Bachchans and Shah Rukh Khan have always shared a great bonding and Jaya considers SRK as her son. Jaya is known to speak her mind and according to the article in Asian Age, Jaya Bachchan had expressed her opinion about Happy New Year personally to Shah Rukh as well. To this, he coolly reminded her that Mr Bachchan's Amar Akbar Anthony was also considered nonsensical in its time. There is no ill will between them over this comment, the article further states.
But apart from this drama, there were also reports in media saying that Mr Bachchan has sent a text message to King Khan apologising for Jaya's comment. However industry insiders who closely know Shah Rukh Khan and the Bachchan family say that nothing of this sort has happened and things are unnecessarily being blown out of proportion.

Swastika Mukherjee, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Detective Byomkesh Bakshi, was recently accused of shoplifting at a boutique shop in Singapore. According to a report in mid-day, Swastika was in Singapore to attend Darpan Film Festival along with her boyfriend Suman Mukherjee and she allegedly lifted earrings worth US$225 from a boutique. Her film's director Dibakar Banerjee does not feel that the controversy will mar the prospects of his film. He is confident about Detective Byomkesh Bakshi and is in fact worried about Swastika's reputation. He feels it is a very unfortunate incident and is concerned about the actress. Dibakar Banerjee says, "I don't think anything can go against the film. So I don't think we should think about that. Rather, we should worry about the incident and the reputation of the actor. This incident is unfortunate and I hope it gets resolved amicably as soon as possible."

The Bigg Boss house saw a mix of emotions when Puneet Issar's wife Deepali entered the house. She was seen giving a hug to Karishma Tanna. According to a report on movies.ndtv.com, the move is perhaps an attempt to salvage her family's image after her daughter Nivriti posted an offensive tweet about Karishma which had invoked instant outrage on Twitter. Deepali's gesture, too, invoked mixed reactions on the social media.

Here are few of them...

Social media has become the most popular form of communication for celebrities who can voice their opinions without the fear of it being manipulated. However, during the Bigg Boss season, the social media platform becomes an arena to discuss the goings-on in the house.

When an upset Nivriti Issar, Puneet Issar's daughter, tweeted, "Did her father die a natural death? Or did he kill himself for having a daughter like her who has no sense???" reacting to Karishma's 'potty-mouthed' comment on her dad, she struck up a controversy. However, as per a report in Bombay times, Nivriti has said, "The tweet was posted from a fake account. Several media houses have reported about it without even verifying it with me. Bombay Times is the first publication that thought of checking with me about the tweet. I immediately clarified regarding the same on my account. My family and I have been so disturbed ever since the tweet was posted. The tweet is shameful. I have a clear conscience and am God-fearing. But I would like to apologise if the tweet has hurt Karishma's family."

The hullabaloo created by Diandra Soares and Gautam Gulati in the Bigg Boss house has garnered much attention. Their kisses have managed to shoot the TRPs through the roof. The two are also a major topic of discussion outside the house. Their romance has created such a buzz that even other celebrities are seen taking sides and fighting it out on social networking sites in support or against their favourites. Bollywood bombshells, Sambhavna Seth and Kashmera Shah, who were invited by Gautam Gulati and Diandra Soares for the Bigg Boss party, were seen in a war of words on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, taking their respective friend's side. Kashmera seemed quite disappointed by Gautam and took to Twitter to express her anger. She tweeted, "When I told Gautam that I really liked that he was in love with Diandra he refused and said there was nothing. So disappointed that he lied. I believe in love and I hate it when people can't man up. How can Gautam tell me that Diandra and he are just friends. I have never shared a shower with a friend. I later told Diandra that I was proud of her. At least she is the one wearing pants in this relationship. I am not saying I support Diandra in her bathroom activities all I m saying is that if u do the crime then do the time. No one at 25 is a child people please. Someone can leave or refuse to go into the bathroom."

All we can do is wait and watch as to who wins the race, this season.

Aishwarya Rai has always been liked for her traditional avatars in saris or anarkalis. However, her salwar-kameez look in Action Replayy and Pride And Prejudice became a rage on the fashion scene. The diva not only brought the fitted churidar-kurta look back from the '70s, but also looked pretty and different in the most popular Indian ensemble.

Rift over trust for kids holds up Karisma's divorce

/karisma-kapoor-5-low-points-of-her-life/eventshow/45686244.cms

01

According to a report on Bombay Times, actress Karisma Kapoor and her Delhi-based businessman husband, Sunjay Kapur, are not to end the year with closure of their decade-old marriage after all. The couple, who filed a mutual consent divorce petition in the city family court, disagreed on some issues at their final hearing a few days ago, the report said. The two were packed off by the judge to work out a settlement by February, the report further stated. The celebrity couple was present in court along with their lawyers before principal judge Laxmi Rao on what was meant to be their date to get the decree — just before Christmas and in time to bring in the New Year with, perhaps, new partners — but both failed to agree to the terms of a trust being set up for the welfare of their two minor children, a nine-year-old daughter and a much younger son, reports Bombay Times. Karisma wanted to have more say and control over the trust than she was getting and Sunjay was unwilling to let go of his control, the report stated. Karisma, who resides in Oberoi Crest in Khar, and Sunjay, a resident of Chankyapuri in Delhi, had converted the custody plea into a mutual consent divorce petition in June. All formalities over, they were in court to get the divorce, but left discontented instead, concludes the Bombay Times report.

The two watched their daughter perform at the famous choreographer's dance show. The report further states that doting mother Karisma listened intently to her daughter while Sunjay seemed to take a keen interest in their chatter. Karisma's divorce from Sunjay was reportedly finalized in June this year with Saif reportedly brokering peace between the two. The actress married Sunjay on September 29, 2003 and their marriage reportedly hit rock bottom after the birth of their daughter Samaira.

The divorce of Sandeep Toshniwal, the new man in Karisma Kapoor's life, is not coming through any time soon, reports Mumbai Mirror. Karisma, who married businessman Sunjay Kapur in 2003, is now going through a divorce. And even though she has managed to find love the second time in Sandeep Toshniwal, CEO of a pharmaceutical company, it seems fate is again set to play spoilsport, reads the report. Sandeep, who is married to Ashrita, a dentist by profession, and has two daughters with her, aged eight and five, has filed for a divorce. And rumours were doing the rounds that he is keen on tying the knot with Karisma as soon as their respective marriages are annulled, the report further states. Although Karisma's divorce is on its way, it will not be easy for Sandeep to get out of his marriage as his wife has refused to sign the papers over alimony issues. "Karisma deserves some happiness now. Unfortunately, Sandeep's divorce proceedings are stuck and showing no sign of ending," the tabloid quoted a source close to Karisma.
Here's a look at some low points of Karisma Kapoor's life in the past...

There were lots of speculations that Karisma's mother Babita was the reason behind their decision to end their love. Star kids have always reigned supreme in Bollywood with their careers being charted in the same domain as their parents. Here's taking a look at those that might be the future of the industry. In the past few years, many celebrities in B-town have become proud parents and are often spotted at events or the airport with their tiny tots in tow. According to a report on pinkvilla.com, AbRam is clicked in this picture with brother Aryan Khan's friend. What doesn't go unnoticed is AbRam's thick hair that reminds us of SRK's thick crop. AbRam has already made his film debut with Shah Rukh's last box-office outing - Happy New Year. However, the media refuses to stop going gaga over SRK's little one. Every time little AbRam makes an appearance, the shutterbugs go clickety click trying to capture the baadshah's boy wonder in all his cute glory. So, it was hardly a surprise when the cameras turned away from Shah Rukh and focussed on AbRam instead, when SRK was shooting for his upcoming film - Fan, outside his mansion, Mannat as reported on Clapsnslaps.com. AbRam was with his nanny and seemed amused to see his father being stopped from entering his own house, as was the sequence that the superstar was shooting for. The little one looked adorable in a striped tee, chewing on his fingers, engrossed watching what his father was up to.

AbRam: Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan's third child, AbRam was born in May 2013 and the protective parents shielded their youngest one from media's glare for almost a year and half before the proud father himself posted a picture on Twitter. The world, that had been waiting to catch a glimpse of the third Khan baby with a bated breath, pored over the details of the picture that the father had shared. Shah Rukh posted a picture of himself with AbRam and wrote, "Eid Al Adha Mubarak to everyone. May all have the happiness that life has to offer. The littlest one wishes you too." [sic] The baadshah of Bollywood also has another son, Aryan and a daughter, Suhana. AbRam adds to the list, taking the count of cute Khan kids to three.

Shah Rukh Khan's youngest son AbRam who was born via surrogacy, was the subject of intense speculation, following reports that a prenatal sex determination test had been done on the child. Understandably furious at the media rumours, and at the arrival of an investigating team at his doorstep, the actor had been shielding the baby from media attention. But at Eid, Khan seems to have relented somewhat and tweeted out a picture of himself with the toddler.

Azad Rao Khan: Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao's two-year-old son Azad Rao Khan is a celebrity in his own right. The star kid who was born through surrogacy on December 5, 2011, already has a fan following in Bollywood. The tiny tot has been often spotted with his parents. Recently, he was the centre of attention when he played football with the who's who of B-town. Aamir, who was earlier married to Reena Dutta has two children from his previous marriage – daughter Ira and son Junaid. So when Ira recently launched a celebrity football match to raise funds for a good cause, all the stars descended on the field. From Salman Khan to Abhishek Bachchan, celebs enjoyed the sport in good spirit, but the one who had a ball was definitely the cute Azad.

Aamir Khan-Kiran Rao's son is already in the limelight. He was all over the papers after he tried his leg at kicking the ball around on the football ground in the special celebrity football match arranged by Ira to raise funds for an animal welfare shelter. Going by the kind of attention he already enjoys, it wouldn't be a surprise if Azad follows in his parent's footsteps. But in an interview to Mumbai Mirror, mum Kiran Rao confirms that the little one was not yet bitten by the acting bug and instead prefers watching cartoons on the TV. And when he is not doing that, Azad is busy playing with his friends outside the house.

Hrehaan and Hridhaan Roshan: Hrithik Roshan is known to be a doting father and his adorable sons – Hrehaan and Hridhaan are often spotted in the company of their father. Hrehaan was born to Hrithik and Sussanne in 2006 and Hridhaan was born two years later in 2008. Hrithik not only takes them for movies, but also to amusement parks and outings. The actor spent his 40th birthday with his two sons, far from the maddening crowds. Hrithik took Hrehaan and Hridhaan on a speedboat ride from the Gateway of India and the trio looked very happy. These two certainly top our list and are two of the most adorable star kids in B-town!

Viaan Raj Kundra: He's one of the cutest star kids on the block. Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's son Viaan turned two this year and had a celebrity birthday bash, Gangnam style. In fact, when Shilpa delivered her baby boy, the proud parents had posed for the shutterbugs, however, they shielded their little one from the media's prying eyes. Raj Kundra even registered a Twitter account for his son and the profile description reads, "I am just two so don't judge me! I love Milk, Sleeping, Cuddling up to my Mum and Dad and want to see World Peace! (ok last one i don't know much about yet)." Perhaps the only star baby to have a Twitter account at this tender age, we think it's super adorable. Baby Viaan is often spotted with his parents at public events. He certainly tops our list!

According to a report, it's been five years since Tamil actress Laxmi Raai broke up with cricketer MS Dhoni, but she says she still keeps stumbling upon reports that talk about their affair and she hates it. Reportedly, the actress changed her name to Raai Laxmi and has been in three relationships since, but the past seems to stick on. "I've begun to believe that my relationship with Dhoni is like a stain or a scar which won't go away for a long time. I'm surprised that people still have the energy and patience left to talk about it even now. Every time TV channels dig into Dhoni's past, they make it a point to bring up our relationship. I dread to think that some day in the future, my kids will see it on TV and ask me about it! I have had three or four relationships after Dhoni, but no one seems to have noticed it," the report quotes the actress. However, there seems to be no love lost between her and Dhoni, the report further states. "I knew him really well and don't know if I can call it a relationship because it never worked out. We still have respect for each other. He has moved on and gotten married. That's the end of the story . I'm a very happy person right now and work is my priority," the report quotes the actress.

Kill Dil actress Parineeti Chopra may not have found love but is eager to be in a relationship. Never having faced a heartbreak herself, Parineeti admits to having broken two hearts. In an interview with Filmfare, Parineeti said, "It's strange. I've been in only two relationships. And in both, I backed out. I broke two hearts. I know it's all going to come back to me. Karma will make sure someone breaks my heart too. But it's okay. (Laughs) Heartbreaks make you a better actor. People who've suffered heartbreaks became good actors after their sad phase. They've had super successful films. I'm not wishing for one but just looking at the positive side." The actress also says that she will be depressed and cry a lot if she ever had a heartbreak.

If I find someone, who has a lot of potential and can do something with life then I don't see bank balance, which family he comes from or his religion. I am extremely idealistic and extremely impractical in life which is not the best thing on this planet, but it has held me in good position till now. I have no baggage with my relationships and everything I have done is with all heart. Even if something doesn't work out, I am friends with all of them. There is nothing dirty about the break-up. Also, if it doesn't end on a negative it's easy to be friends with your exes. It's not tough but the closure is important," said Sonam.

Bigg Boss 8: Diandra Soares enters; hugs Gautam

Bigg Boss 8 has been full of interesting twists and turns and looks like the makers of the show are leaving no stone unturned in leaving surprising the audiences. After Ajaz Khan's wild card entry, the show now gears up to witness a few family members of the contestants. Apart from Puneet Issar's wife, reports on BusinessofCinema.com say that eliminated contestant Diandra Soares will also make an entry in the house.

Further to reports on BusinessofCinema.com, "Diandra will enter the show as part of the freeze and release task. Upon her entry, Diandra confesses to Karishma Tanna that she is upset with her about something which she didn't expect from her. Diandra made an entry in the house when all the contestants were in the freeze mode. She first went towards the corner of the room where Gautam keeps his luggage and keeps two letters for him in his luggage. After which Gautam is released from the task and both Gautam and Diandra hug each other and get emotional." The two spend some time together in the garden area sipping coffee. Diandra tells Gautam that she is not upset with him for anything and that she wants him to win the show. She also mentions that she likes the way Gautam is playing his game in the house.

Let's take a look at some other contestants who can make a re-entry on the reality show.

Bigg Boss season 8 has become very popular on the small screen. Considering this, the show has been apparently extended for a month. It was earlier supposed to end in January but will now have a grand finale in February. Since Salman Khan won't be able to host the show during the extended period, Farah Khan will reportedly step in as the new host. Now that the show has been extended, the possibilities are endless and wild card entries seem most probable. Here's listing out the contestants who can make a comeback in the house.

Television's most popular reality show Bigg Boss 8 has got an extension and there have been reports of several wild card entries coming up in the show. Speculations are rife over which inmates from previous seasons of Bigg Boss will join the five finalists of the ongoing season. According to a report in Bombay Times, joining Rahul Mahajan and Sambhavna Seth will be none other than Mahek Chahal. Mahek was seen in the fifth season of the show. The report further states that Imam Siddique, who entertained the audiences with his antics during the sixth season, will also join the inmates as the final contestant. "There will be no winner from the existing lot. They (the final five) will be joined by these five contestants, who will fight for the cash prize," the report quoted a source.

Deepshikha Nagpal was a part of the secret society, along with RJ Pritam and Puneet Issar, when she entered the Bigg Boss House. The actress had a successful start in the house but was considered a bit dominating after a few tasks. Contestants inside the house thought that Deepshikha was very dominating but she bonded well with Puneet Issar, Diandra and Karishma. Now that she is out of the house, Deepshikha may be fully aware of the situation inside and it would be interesting to see her back in the house.

Minissha Lamba went through a very tough emotional time in the Bigg Boss house. She was in the reality show for six long weeks and at one point Aarya Babbar revealed on national television that the two were in a relationship. While in conversation with Deepshikha, Minissha had revealed how Aarya suggested that they fake a romance. Minissha was a cool-headed contestant on the show and was good friends with both Diandra and Karishma. If Minissha was to return to the house along with Aarya, it would be fun to watch her bond with other participants like Puneet and Gautam.

06

Aarya Babbar has had a jittery ride in the Bigg Boss 8 house. The actor, in the spur of a moment, revealed about his relationship with Minissha Lamba. This revelation put them both in pretty awkward situations. Apparently, apart from the money, Aarya entered the house as he planned to grab a few eyeballs for his book which is due to release in January. In the house, Aarya Babbar was very close to Upen Patel. The two were seen spending a lot of time together. A second innings in the Bigg Boss may give him a chance to prove himself as a tough competitor.

07

Nigaar Khan had a very short stint in the Bigg Boss house. The actress was evicted from the house in just two weeks of her entry in the show. Her sister Gauahar Khan was a part of the reality show last year and this time Gauahar encouraged Nigaar also to be a part of the house. Nigaar had observed all that was happening apparently and wanted to break the groupism but it seems like there were too many differences. Nigaar was termed as the 'cry baby' in the house but it seems like she has learnt a lesson or two and may come back stronger and even more competitive.

08

Renee has been one of the most aggressive contestants in the Bigg Boss house. She entered the house along with Dimpy. She exited the reality show within three weeks of being a part of it. Renee was apparently very aggressive on her previous reality show - Roadies. However here Renee was not too forthcoming. One of the major fallout that she had with the other housemates was when Renee refused to do a task, because of which Karishma couldn't meet her mother. Puneet also tried to explain her, but Renee stood firm by her decision. Renee may return to the Bigg Boss house as a wild card entrant, after knowing much more about the show from outside.

People have to respect our viewpoint, says Boman Irani

Written By Unknown on Senin, 29 Desember 2014 | 21.44

Reacting to the controversies surrounding Rajkumar Hirani's latest release "PK", actor Boman Irani says people need to respect the viewpoint of the makers.

"People may agree and may even disagree but then they have to respect it (the concept of 'PK') because we are also respecting their view," Boman, who has a key role in the film, said here.

"PK", which is doing well at the box office, has been getting mixed reactions from audiences for its content. While some have slammed it, saying it mocks Hindu traditions, a lot of people have called it the best film of 2014.

READ: PK: Should we support or boycott the film?

It is a thought provoking film that stirs discussion as well and Boman feels that "any film worth a debate is a good film."

"It is a point of view and you have to respect that," said the 55-year-old.

Some of the groups including VHP are demanding a curb on such movies that hurt religious sentiments of Hindus.

However, the actor is not deterred by such groups, instead he feels happy with their reaction because it has engaged people into discussion over the sensitive issue as religion, god and godmen.

"Ofcourse people will (protest and create controversy)...everybody will do. But it is so nice because everybody is having discussion about it and anything worth a debate is a good film," Boman said.

Further talking about Hirani, Boman said that his films always make people think and re-assess their own values.

"Rajkumar Hirani films will always have something to think about. You agree or disagree with the film or you like or dislike a film, that's a different thing but his films will atleast make you think," Boman, who has worked with Hirani in films like "Munna Bhai M.B.B.S." and "Lage Raho Munna Bhai", said.

"His films will make you re-assess your own values and re-evaluate yourselves saying "may be he is right may be he is wrong but I am thinking" and that thought has to be respectful because he is respecting the audience," he added.

Featuring Aamir Khan as an alien, the film also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt.

Actress and Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra says she was lucky not to have a swimsuit round during the competition as she finds it strange to walk in bikini on stage.

The organisers of The Miss World contest, which has been an annual feature since 1951, have removed swimsuit round from their competition starting next year.

To this, Priyanka said: "Obviously it's strange to walk in heels and swim suit on stage. Take us to a pool or a beach and do that shoot, that's fine because that's a natural environment. It's weird and not natural."

Salman- Jacqueline support Sri Lanka's Mahinda Rajapaksa

Bollywood star Salman Khan is in Sri Lanka to prop up the incumbent Mahinda Rajapaksa's re-election bid, the first Indian actor to be roped in for a poll campaign in the country.

Khan, along with Sri Lankan-born Jacqueline Fernandez and five other Bollywood performers are set to appear on stage in support of Rajapaksa.

Khan was invited to participate in the election campaign by parliamentarian and Rajapaksa's son Namal, the local website Asianmirror reported.

Jacqueline Fernandez, a former Miss Sri Lanka, is a friend of younger Rajapaksa.

This is the first time a Bollywood actor has been roped in for a poll campaign, analysts said.

Beset by mass defections from his ruling coalition to the opposition challenger Maithripala Sirisena, Rajapaksa is believed to have suffered a loss of popular support. The Bollywood stars are expected to boost the sagging morale of the incumbent's campaign.

Khan is not the only Indian influence in the Rajapaksa campaign. It has been reported that Arvind Gupta, a BJP social media guru, is helping the incumbent in the social media side of the campaign.

The presidential election will take place on January 8 as Rajapaksa called the election two years ahead of schedule in an apparent attempt to seek fresh mandate before his party's popularity tumbles further, after dropping over 21 per cent in September local elections.
