Goa tourism backs 'Cigarette Ki Tarah'

Director Akashaditya Lama's upcoming film, Cigarette Ki Tarah (CKT), has been garnering support from many quarters. And now, the tourism ministry of Goa has joined the bandwagon.

While a major portion of the film, starring Bhoop Yaduvanshi, Prashant Narayanan, Madhurima Tuli, Yuvika Choudhary and Sudesh Berry, has been shot in Goa, CKT also promotes anti-smoking. And, this aspect was one of the major reasons for the the Goa tourism to support the film. The team of CKT will hold a charitable concert in Goa to raise funds for rehab centres to help people quit smoking.

Says Yaduvanshi, who plays the lead role, "It is overwhelming to get such support from Goa Tourism. We have made the film with a good intent and will do our best to help the cause."

Cigarette Ki Tarah, produced by PY Films, releases December 14.
