Director Samar Khan (Shaurya, Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye) is on the lookout for a girl opposite Puneet Malhotra for his short film. His short film is the part of 'The Large Short Story' - a collection of ten short films.
But not many know that the short film is no less than any Bollywood blockbuster. The film has a fantastic story line, pulsating songs and a dashing hero like Puneet and to add to it a missing story.
For a fresh female face for his film, Samar Khan is opting to modern methods and has started the hunt on Facebook on the Large Short Films Page. He knows that it is the best way to connect to girls in this day and age. The director has already started shooting and has completed his first schedule in Bangkok.
Speaking from Bangkok he says the experience took him back to school. "It's not easy, especially when the world is watching you. The film will be released on Youtube... that's a few billion screens compared to a mere 2500 multiplexes for a feature film. And here they have a choice to abuse vocally, unlike a theatre. So the pressure is huge."
