Sonam Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana will be coming together for a project that will be directed by Nupur Asthana for Yash Raj Films.
Interestingly, this new project will be a first of many sorts. Not only will this be Sonam and Ayushmann's first film with YRF as well as each other, this will be the first YRF venture to be directed by a woman - Nupur, who helmed Mujhse Fraandship Karoge, a Y Films project that hit the theatres in 2011. The story has been penned by Habib Faisal.
A source close to the film told us, "The film will be a slice-of-life and will go on floors in mid-February next year. The makers are planning for a September/October release for the project." We also found out that the film will be based in Delhi. Interestingly both Ayushmann and Sonam have spent a part of their childhood in the national capital.
For Sonam, 2013 is turning out to be a big year with Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (opposite Farhan Akhtar) and Raanjhana (opposite Dhanush) already lined up for release. Ayushmann, on the other hand, has Rohan Sippy's Nautanki Saala and another film titled Hamara Bajaj.
