A unit source revealed a marathon schedule planned in the Muslim-centric area of Dongri had to be cancelled. "Milan was compelled to delay the schedule due to Muharram. Filmmakers are not allowed to shoot during that time. Milan wasn't aware of this and was taken by surprise. To respect people's religious sentiments, he did not go ahead with the shooting," said our source.
However, the cancellation of the schedule has created a roadblock for the director.
The scenes to be shot there required the presence of all the three lead stars — Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha — and it was with great difficulty that Milan had got the dates of all the three artistes together.
