The erstwhile adult star, who has been seen in films which have used her sex quotient to sell their wares, will be seen in an action mode. The movie's makers are keen to show a different dimension of the actress as they feel she has the potential to deliver.
"Sunny threw a punch in the air when she heard the script. She also tried an aerial kick in glee. She was very excited about the prospect of doing an action film," Dholakia recalls the actress' reaction.
The director, who has made films like Tere Liye among others, says that his venture with Sunny is not like Charlie's Angels, but is in a genre that is dark and grim as well.
Titled Tina and Lolo, the movie is a story of friendship and bonding, with a good dose of action.
While she was unavailable for comment, sources close to the actress confirmed that she will be a part of this film. It is learnt that Balaji Motion Pictures has instructed her not to talk about any other project till their film is released.
