With Aashiqui 2, Bhatts who are known for thrillers, dark erotic films are returning to the romantic genre.
The Bhatt brothers are planning to make few family entertainers and about the same, Mukesh Bhatt said, "Yes, we are planning more romantic films. Bhatts are always trend setters. We have made erotic thrillers, horror films and with Aashiqui we have decided to make few clean family entertainers for the audience."
In 90s with films like Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin and Aashiqui, Bhatts entertained audience with romance on silver screen. On being asked whether they plan to make a franchise out of their other films, Mukesh claimed, "Yes, why not but it's too early to talk about."
Aashiqui 2 rang the bell at the box office and on asked about his plans to take the franchise to another level with addition to the film, Mukesh said, "Yes, why not Aashiqui 3 and 4. We will continue to do more films and franchise helps to an extend, but at the end a film to deliver craves for content."
"I am happy with the success of Aashiqui 2, but I am not shocked as I was confident about the film and its success," concluded Mukesh.
