On being asked about his move from action to romance, Prabhu Deva claimed, "I am a choreographer and more connected to romance than action. When I did Wanted everyone asked me that why I did action when I was a choreographer."
When asked about how much romance is important in his life, Prabhu Deva said, "Who is not romantic, everybody is romantic in life. Everybody has there own way of romance."
"I want to do all kind of films, however, romance will be there. In Indian films romance is necessary," added the director.
Prabhu Deva expressed that it's a responsibility to direct a newcomer. "My responsibility is more as Girish Kumar is new and I have to take care of him. When I started the film, I was happy with him. I told him to do seven to eight months of Bollywood dancing. I am very satisfied with the Ramaiya Vastavaiya," concluded Prabhu Deva.
