Farhan Akhtar's next will be 'Rock On 2'

Farhan Aktar, who has entered the elite 100 crore club with his last movie 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', will be seen next in his rockstar avatar in 'Rock On 2'. The sequel to his 2008 hit 'Rock On!!' has been postponed seeing the rise in popularity of Farhan.

Like Rock On!!, its sequel will also be produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani's company. Farhan is very excited about this movie and wants to capitalise on his stardom. If all goes well, Farhan will start shooting for the movie by year end.

However, unlike the previous movie, Rock On 2 might not be directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Reports suggest that Farhan and Ritesh might bring in a younger director to direct the sequel. Though there were rumours about a tiff between Farhan and Abhishek, the presence of Farhan at Abhishek's party to celebrate the success of Kai Po Che has put an end to the rumours.
