Is Veena Mallik dating a scammer?

Veena Mallik, who is known for her controversial relationships, is may be in for another one. The item-girl's latest billionaire boyfriend seems to be a well known offender with a string of cases against him in Norway.

It was recently reported that Veena is currently dating Norway based businessman Shaikh Umar Farukh Zahoor. There was even an intimate photograph of the two and Umar was described as a Norway billionaire. However, according to Umar's Wikipedia page, the businessman has a number of cases against him and has been involved in a string of cases of embezzlement and fraud. There are even news reports that claim that Umar was involved in kidnapping his daughters by his ex-wife, Pakistani model Sofia Mirza.

Veena however claims that she isn't dating Umar and that they are family friends. "I am not dating anyone at all. The snap circulating in the media paints a wrong picture," Veena even denied having any information about Umar's alleged dealings. "As far as the relationship is concerned, we are family friends and I was out for dinner with a bunch of other friends in Dubai where this picture was taken, and I want to make it clear that I am single."
