Dutt has been in jail since the past three months. Having completed 18 months of his total five year sentence way back, Sanjay will now complete the remaining term. He has been convicted in the 1993 serial bomb blasts case.
Sanjay has also been doing his chores in prison including those of a clerical nature.
As per media reports, Sanju baba will now be part of a cultural performance that will be held in Marathi, to highlight the traditions and culture of Maharashtra. Although Sanjay's role remains undecided, he will perform at the public event which is scheduled during the Ganpati festival that is widely celebrated all over Maharashtra.
Joining him will be other fellow inmates and even those from the women's jail. The inmates will themselves choreograph the entire show which will include skits and dance performances.
