Deepika gets 3 cr for 2 day shoot in Rajniâ€™s film?

2013 has been a promising year for Deepika Padukone. The actress has been riding high on the success of Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani and Chennai Express.

She has also allegedly replaced Katrina Kaif for a soap brand endorsement. Deepika will next be seen opposite South superstar Rajnikanth in his daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth Ashwin's film Kochadaiyaan.

According to a report in Mid-Day, the actress who has a meaty role in the film was required to shoot only for a few days thanks to some advanced technology.

Further to reports in Mid-Day, a source was quoted saying that the director shot with Dips in only two days and the advanced technology ensures that the actress' each and every expression and gesture was captured.

Director Soundarya was quoted saying that Deepika was skeptical about the use of technology earlier and how it would in be in her favour but once she was convinced, she gave her go ahead and shooting was completed in 48 hours.
