It's common knowledge that Aamir Khan is a huge Sachin Tendulkar fan and the two have bonded well on several occasions in the past. Aamir Khan had also attended the World Cup Finals in 2011 when India had won the title.
Aamir had made plans to attend the last game of Sachin Tendulkar which starts today. Incidentally today is also the day when the title song from Dhoom 3 was to be launched by Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in the YRF Studio.
The Indian team won the toss and opted for bowling. But when the West Indies team went all out at 182 runs and Aamir Khan learnt that India was to take on batting, the actor made an about turn to his plans. Aamir was on his way to YRF Studios for the event but official sources from the studio confirmed that the actor went back to Wankhede Stadium as India started to bat. Evidently Aamir did not want to miss any chance to see Sachin Tendulkar bat.
Meanwhile the Dhoom 3 song launch event is apparently been postponed by an hour.
