A lot of people feel that Deepika is the biggest take away from the film and she has done a phenomenal act portraying her character. However, the best compliment came from Amitabh Bachchan who sent Deepika a personalized hand written note along with her favorite flowers to appreciate her performance in the movie.
Big B also tweeted about how much he liked the movie. Dippy was very delighted by Amitabh's gesture. It was one of the best gifts she has received.
Bachchan Sr. wrote on the micro blogging website Twitter,"In the past 24hrs, lived with the brilliance of RAMLEELA .. 3 times over, and still not satisfied !! Signed by 'Laal Ishk' !!"
With 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela' Deepika has shone on the big screen like never before and brought a lot of energy into her character. Co-starring Ranveer Singh the film makes it Deepika's fourth successful film this year. Her other superhits of the year that have also crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark have been 'Race 2', 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and 'Chennai Express'.
