"I was really homesick ever since Shilpa was evicted and I was missing my dog too. So, I'm really glad that I'm out of the show and got to celebrate Diwali with my family," says he.
Negativity wins! Apurva was always known to be a calm, chilled out and balanced guy inside the celebrity house. But, isn't he saddened by the fact that those who rave and rant in the show, are still there and in fact, thriving? To this, Apurva replies: "The whole show is content-driven and lots of time people say things for effect, just because they are on national television. That's why things are blown out of proportion! But, that's alright!"
Salman uses teleprompter The man, who kept his cool throughout the show, seemed trifle disturbed when Salman Khan openly mocked Apurva's wife Shilpa Saklani, alluding that she was trying to clobber her husband tad too much. Ask him about that particular episode, and Apurva says: "I don't think Salman wanted to hurt any of us. He likes me a lot, and it was probably the teleprompter, which egged him on to rag Shilpa and her endearments of 'baby', which she uses for me. Shilpa has already spoken about it and it's all behind us now!"
Sheer-Khurma calling! Apurva is regarded as an elder brother by Kushal Tandon, and he reciprocated the feelings and protected Kushal like his own kid brother. So, ask him if he would like to see his younger bro, settle down with Gauahar, and pat comes the reply: "I would love to see Kushal and Gauahar together forever. They are both young, good-looking and compliment each other very well. Right now, they are each other's support system and I hope Kushal returns to the show at the earliest because he deserves to be there. I would get to eat sheer-khurma on a regular basis if they get married. But, they need to really know each other when they come out of the show because real life is very different from the Bigg Boss' house."
