Bollywood is no more dominated with love and romance, the level of intimacy in films has moved to another level. However, the actors no more hesitate to open up to the idea of intimate scenes and are seen comfortable in such script demanding areas.

Wondering, whether its difficult for real life couples like Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor who broke up and yet shared screen space in Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani, to get intimate on screen? The answer is no. Both the actors are quite comfortable working with each other and about the same, Deepika said, "I think the fact is that we are comfortable with each other whether it's intimate scenes, romantic scene or angry scenes or action scenes. The fact remains that we are comfortable working with each other."

"When you are doing scenes we don't think like ex girlfriend or ex boyfriend. We are there as characters," added Deepika.

Deepika isn't uncomfortable with her ex-flame and claims that performing with Ranbir is comfortable. Ranbir said, "There are so much of technicalities in any scene that for me intimate scenes and action scenes are no different. It was easier for us because we know each other."

"Such stories don't affect my work, but at times when people asked me such questions I feel bad. I think that I work so hard on films, people should ask me about my work rather than my personal life. People used to ask me about Deepika all the time. However, now people ask me about my work also. When people ask me personal questions, I respond but don't like such things," claimed Ranbir.

Ayan Mukerjee, who directed them in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani said, "We are new generations and the fact that ex-lovers are able to look back at time and understand the difficulties. All the younger generation like Arjun Kapoor, Alia if they ever have an affair, they are able to step away from it and get on with it."

Not just the actors who have had a friendship and comfort between them are ready to get intimate on-screen, but also newcomers are opening up to get intimate on-screen.

Sasha Agha, who entered Bollywood with Aurangzeb, has no inhibitions about bold scenes. "Intimate scenes with Arjun Kapoor were funny because we were using body suits and it had silver tapes and all and at the end of the day I felt like terminator. We were wondering how to act romantic, but there was lot of romance and love making scenes," said the actress.
