Amitabh Bachchan to return to Sandalwood?

It's been nearly a decade since Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan made his Sandalwood debut with director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar's Amruthadaare, in a cameo, though. And now, if rumours are to be believed, Big B might return to Kannada cinema, in a cameo yet again, in an upcoming film starring Century Star Shivarajkumar.

Titled Kabira, the film directed by Narendra Babu, is apparently a historical biopic on the life of poet and saint Kabir, played by Shivarajkumar, and the Big B is apparently being wooed to play Kabir's guru.

This would be an interesting turn of events, given that Amitabh Bachchan has, in the past, tweeted about his fondness for the Rajkumar family, and about having worked with Shivarajkumar on commercials for the brand they endorse. It is also to be noted that the late matinee idol Rajkumar had also done a film based on the life of Saint Kabir, called Mahatma Kabir.
