BIGG BOSS GAVE ME INSTANT VISIBILITY
"I had signed contracts with Bigg Boss producers in seasons 5 and 6 as well, but I was put on hold and never given entry into the house. I finally got to go inside the house in Season 7. Bigg Boss gave me instant visibility in a week's time. People have started recognising me. And so, I will now be seen in two TV shows: one is Tere Chehre Se Nazar Nahi Hatati on and Anjaani Raahon Mein," shares Vivek.
CAN'T DO NAKED YOGA ONSCREEN
"I am the first yoga guru who conducts naked yoga classes in India and probably this is what excited the channel and they wanted me to go inside the Bigg Boss house and do that particular act on camera, not realising that BB is a prime time show. Naked yoga is practiced inside four walls, by two people and not on screen. My refusal to perform before the camera was probably the reason why I was evicted mid-week, though my contract was for two weeks," says Vivek. But what exactly is naked yoga all about? "Naked yoga is all about accepting your body the way it is. Once you see it the way it is, you shed a lot of inhibitions too. When we are more comfortable with our own body, we are more calm and composed and even confident. It has been in existence for a very long time and is quite popular abroad. I have trained Edward Maya and Shawn Paul but no one in India. In India people still think naked yoga is controversial."
BIGG BOSS IS SCRIPTED
While insisting that Bigg Boss is "scripted", Vivek says, "We get inputs of what to do for the day. I was told to do naked yoga and I refused it many times." Vivek also alleges that the house inmates were getting physical inside the Bigg Boss house. "When Gauahar went inside the loo once during my stay, she took Kushal inside too with her. After spending a good time with him, she came out and her lipstick was missing. So, it was bathroomwala love for them. Getting intimate to such an extent might be okay on Big Brother but not on Bigg Boss. There were four couples on the show this time, Shilpa-Apurva, Gauahar-Kushal, Armaan-Tanisha and Sangram-Andy. We even saw a lot of things happening between Andy and Sangram under the blanket. Even viewers watched it during the live streaming on the internet."
FULFILLED MY COMMITMENT
While Vivek might not have done naked yoga onscreen, he says he did what he promised to the makers. "The only thing that I promised I would do on the show is reveal that Armaan Kohli was in a live-in relationship with my very close friend Tanya Kapoor, who is a divorcee and a mother, and that I did. Armaan was engaged to her. Tanya was the one who dropped ArmAan to the Bigg Boss house. When I confronted Armaan, pehle toh usne bawaal kiya. When he took out the mic and went to the loo, he told me ki whatever he is doing is for the camera and Tanu ko bolna - he didn't even say Tanya - ke main bahar aake sabse pehle usey hug karunga. But nothing of that sort happened. I have got to know that Armaan and Tanisha are getting engaged now," says Vivek, who seems to have kept himself updated about the developments in the house inmates' lives post the show.
