'I will never do a show like Bigg Boss'

Telly starlet Gulki Joshi, who was in Vadodara for the English adaptation of Vijay Tendulkar's much acclaimed play Sakharam Binder, says that she prefers theatre over other mediums.

However, she clarifies, "I would say that theatre is my first love, while television is my husband! I was initially hesitant about taking up Sakharam Binder, as it is a classic and it's difficult to do justice to the subject unless you are at your best as an actor! But we have worked very hard as a team and hopefully, our sincere efforts will be appreciated. It's a play that is very relevant in today's times as well. Theatre is my biggest stress buster!"

Gulki, who is trained in salsa, goes on to add, "I am very glad that I became an actor because acting is the only thing that I can do well! I have always been inclined towards shows that have good content and offer scope for performance. I have just started shooting for a new show and we have been shooting in Chandigarh for the last few days but I can't divulge any details right now. So far, all my shows have chosen me and I have been pretty blessed that way. I would love to do a dance reality show some day! I am also game for a singing reality show. But I will never do a show like Bigg Boss!"
