1) Acting is a tough job and sometimes getting into the skin of the character makes you do things that you don't in real life! Rajkummar Rao had a similar experience while shooting for Hansal Mehta's CityLights. A particular scene in the movie needed Rajkummar to enact a drunk sequence. In the scene, Rajkummar visits a bar, gets sloshed and arrives home dead drunk. Rajkummar who is a non alcoholic in real life decided to take to the bottle in a bid to bring credibility to his performance.
2) The film is a remake of the BAFTA nominated British film Metro Manila (2013).The film is presented by Fox Star Studios in association with Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt.
3) Earlier the film was set to be directed by Ajay Bahl of B. A. Pass fame. However, due to creative differences, he was replaced by Hansal Mehta
