He told the audience how he got late for his own wedding and to this his wife added "Abhi bhi late aate hain". However, Kapil Dev quickly blamed the baarat for getting late. Funny anecdotes from the great legend didn't stop here, Kapil Dev also went on to narrate an incident from his honeymoon in England where he tried making chappatis but gave up at the atta stage after wasting 5 kgs of flour and finally ordered a pizza. Kapil also opened up about how he used to take his wife on his cricket tours without letting the board know - owing to tight budgets back then.
