Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a perfect salute to friendship. It is a journey of three friends who go on a road trip and face the highs and lows of life together. On July 15, ZNMD completed three years of its release. Starring Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin, the movie won two National Awards besides sweeping away several other accolades across India and abroad. The movie boasted of being shot in exotic locations of Spain, a good script, great performances and very lively music. In fact, Hrithik recently tweeted, "Of friendships n love. Dats happiness. My love to all my friends who made ZNMD a ride I will never forget. And the audience who made it great!" Friendship doesn't see your background: The movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara saw Hrithik Roshan (a successful investment banker), Abhay Deol (a wealthy businessman) and Farhan Akhtar (a writer from a modest background) as friends who are not bothered about each other's family backgrounds. In fact, not only do they have different backgrounds but also contrasting personalities. While Farhan is an extrovert and fun loving, Hrithik is serious and introvert. Despite these differences, they are best of friends who want to be with each other through their ups and downs. This teaches us that when it comes to friendship, one should not see things like family backgrounds, bank balance or personalities.

Never fight for the same girl: Though friendship is strong enough to face any and every hurdle, there are some things that just can't be taken for granted and that is your friend's love interest. In the movie, there is some tension between Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar in the beginning and the reason is a girl. In fact, Hrithik accuses Farhan of stealing his ex-girlfriend and this leads to a fight between the two characters. Dare or die in fear: While we all have some unreasonable fears and do not want to face them, it is only our well-wishers who can help us to get over them. In this movie the three friends decide on three adventure sports and dare the other two to do it. And they end up picking scuba diving, sky diving and bull run that will test their deepest fears. Hence, Hrithik who was scared of sea diving explores the magic of the sea after he takes the plunge. He not only overcomes his fear but also finds his soul mate there. Hence, we should learn that until and unless we don't face our fears, we will never overcome it.

Live life king size: The movie is all about fun and fulfilling your dreams before you realise that you never got the chance to live them. In this movie Hrithik has the motto to work hard till 40 and then retire with a huge bank balance. As a result he works and makes con-calls even during his Spain trip. However, after meeting Katrina he realises that there's no guarantee that he'd live up to the age of 40. From then on he takes the plunge of living life each day as if there is no tomorrow. Hence, we should live for the moment and never postpone doing things that will make us happy. And only a friend can help you realise this.

A bachelor's party is must before marriage: Whenever one of your friends is about to get married, you must plan a wild bachelor bash so that he can live his life to fullest before sacrificing his bachelorhood. Even in this movie, the three friends- Hrithik, Abhay and Farhan plan a three-week bachelor road trip to Spain before Abhay's marriage. It is this trip that makes them even more closer and takes them to a trip of love and self-discovery. So party hard while you can and celebrate each and every day of bachelorhood.
