Kingfisher model Poonam Pandey was an unknown face that shot to fame after her infamous stripping proclamation during the 2011 World Cup. The actress-model promised to strip if India won the World Cup in 2011. Her bold answer in an exclusive interview to TOI on whether or not she was actually going to strip if India won caught the nation by furore. In an exclusive interview to TOI, Poonam said, "Of course, I am going to do it. But where? I can bare all wherever they want. It can be inside the players' dressing room or even in the stadium." Though the bold babe broke her promise to strip naked that year, what followed the next year was way beyond everyone's imagination.

The seductress again took to Twitter to make another scandalous promise in 2012. Poonam promised to strip naked for SRK and his IPL team KKR, if they won. And this time around, Poonam stood by what she had promised. She shared a stark naked picture of herself on Twitter soon as a tribute to KKR. But the picture came with a warning message too. "WARNING 18 & under should not try looking up the pic. That said I do not take responsibility for anyone under age." "Tweethearts and fans round the World... the pic was Just a Trailer lot more u will see in my Debut Film.. so stay tuned... luv u all xox," she further added.

Poonam Pandey was surely not going to let the world rest in peace and this time around she came up with yet another raunchy video. Titled 'Bathroom Secrets', Poonam uploaded a video of herself bathing in a tub, covering the bare minimum possible with foam. The video went viral soon after it was uploaded and Poonam was trending not only in India but all over the world. "The secret behind team India's victory is My Bathroom Secrets," Poonam posted on Twitter. Youtube banned the video but realizing the furore the video created the ban was lifted soon.

Poonam is also known for her Twitter wars with actress Chitrangada Singh and noted author Taslima Nasrin. Taslima had reacted to Poonam's 'attitude is like underwear' tweet and posted, "Poonam Pandey got naked but not satisfied. She wanna do dirtiest things none did before. Wants to get f****d in public!" Poonam Pandey tweeted, "Fuck what people say... Do YOU. Some people will hate you for it, but it's the ones that love you for it that are more important". If this was not enough Poonam targeted Vidya Balan after the thunderous response to Dirty Picture by saying, "I promise to get dirtier than Vidya Balan in The Dirty Picture. I don`t think there is any bikini left in the world that I haven't worn. I can even shop in a bikini and of course, if the role demands it, I will wear one too. I want to do something no one in the industry has ever done before!"
