Vijayendra Kumeria, who has appeared in small roles — usually those of cops and army men — in various shows, will now be seen as an air force officer in Shastri Sisters.
About getting offered similar roles, he says, "After working for five years in the aviation industry, as a flight purser, my look and personality suit such characters. Also, I have lived a disciplined life." Vijayendra will play the love interest of one of the sisters in the film.

He also tells us how particular he is about maintaining his physique. "Looks are everything. Talent counts, but one's body and face has to suit the role. I have definitely tried to be leaner, as it makes you sexier. One looks bigger on screen, so being lean has its plus sides," he concludes.
