1) Johnny Depp was offered the lead role in the film first but he declined. Joseph Gordon-Levitt later replaced him
2) Eva Green plays the role of Ava in the film but she wasn't the first choice for the part. Apparently, a host of actresses like Angelina Jolie, Salman Hayek, Scarlett Johansson, Anne Hathaway and even Jennifer Lawrence were considered first
3) Jessica Alba got into shape for the film to reprise her role as a stripper from 'Sin City'. Post being married with kids, Jessica had to shed a lot of weight to get into shape for the film
