After a chaotic and exhausting time the day prior, the Bigg Boss housemates are seen letting bygones be bygones, by decorating and the house and gearing up for Diwali. Like one big happy family, they are preparing rangoli, delicious sweets, and decorating the house together.
And when Bigg Boss sees the housemates behaving themselves, he decides to go a step ahead and surprise them by bringing in the festivities with Gutthi and Palak from Comedy Nights With Kapil, visiting them. Both Gutthi and Palak are carrying special handwritten letters and Diwali gifts sent by the families of the contestants. It is an emotional moment for the contestants, who react with tears of joy and are overwhelmed with the specials gifts received form their respective families.
To lighten the mood and spread the cheer, Gutthi and Palak decide play some hilarious games while taking them on a laughter riot with their comic banter. Ali gets all flirtatious with Palak and Gutthi and offer them a bunch of plastic flowers from the flower vase besides them. Gutthi immediately tells him that they are not cheap girls and that he should stop his antics and behave himself. The housemates are divided into two groups with team Palak comprising of Diandra, Karishma, Ali, Sushant, Puneet, Soni and Aarya and team Gutthi comprising of Upen, Minissha, Gautam, Pritam, Praneet and Sonali get all active and ready to take on each other.

Sonali and Soni compete with each other in a laddoo eating contest, where Sonali wins; followed by Ali and Pritam's face off over a joke contest. Karishma and Minissha are seen playing tug-of-war along with Gutthi and Palak, where Karishma wins. An intimate couple dance game on paper which includes Sushant and Aarya V/s Sonali and Gautam adds spice to all the fun. The couples are cheered with whistles and hoots. Praneet and Puneet were made to shake their booty in a hilarious hula-hoop game.
As the day progresses, Diandra is given a responsibility of choreographing a fashion show with contestants to showcase the exclusive designer collection as they launch the Snapdeal designer studio for the first time on Bigg Boss Season 8. With Diandra, Sushant and Upen hailing from the fashion industry; they are elated and together with the others begin rehearsing for the fashion show.
As a part of extravagant Diwali celebrations, the contestants are treated with special dance performance by renowned television actress Mouni Roy and talented choreographer Punit. As soon as Karishma sees her good friend, Mouni performing, she jumps up with joy. Everyone cheers the dance duo as they showcase mesmerizing performances to some Madhuri Dixit dance numbers.
Diandra's specially choreographed fashion show begins with Sushant walking the ramp much in style setting a benchmark for the others to perform better. As the contestants walk the ramp to present their exclusive designer outfits, while the remaining housemates cheer them and celebrate the evening amidst laughter and happiness forgetting all the stress, anger and animosity; living in the moment and creating some memories to cherish.
