As the entire world is soaking in Christmas celebrations, how can our favourite Bigg Boss season 8 contestants be left behind. To celebrate the joy of Christmas, Bigg Boss announced a Secret Santa Task. All the housemates would have to pick a chit with the name of a contestant written on it, from a bowl. He/she would have to give away one of their personal belongings as a gift. The contestants will not only have to present a gift for Christmas, but will also have to give a reason for gifting the particular item. Let us take a look at who received what and if the contestants were ready to gift an item from their personal belongings to the other housemate.

Gautam gifts Sonali, his Zara leather jacket: Sonali and Gautam's relationship in the Bigg Boss 8 house is one of the most confusing relationships. Sometimes, they become really sweet and caring towards each other and at other times they are at loggerheads. But looks like Gautam is trying to mend his ways and wants to let bygones be bygones. Gautam, who got Sonali's name on a his chit showed his generous heart and gifted his Zara leather jacket to Sonali. The young lad did this as he knows that Sonali doesn't have a jacket in the house and she loves leather and clothing from Zara.

Sonali gifts Upen, her good luck charm: After Diandra's exit, the avid followers of Bigg Boss 8 were missing a love story inside the house. But it seems Sonali and Upen are making up for the absence with their new found love for each other. Though we have mostly seen Upen avoiding Sonali, he is suddenly being nice to her. Sonali never loses hope and continues to support the handsome hunk. Sonali, who was Upen's Secret Santa gifts him her collection of pendants and lockets. Not just that, the Xpose actress also gave away her owl locket which she believes is a good luck charm (she has 40 owl pendants).

Karishma's gift makes Puneet emotional: Till a few weeks ago, Bigg Boss 8 contestants Karishma Tanna and Puneet Issar couldn't stand each other. Whenever they spoke to each other, they ended up fighting. But looks like they want to be at peace till the time they are inside the house. During the Secret Santa task, when Karishma could not find a worthy gift for Puneet Issar, she decides to gift wrap the Ganesh and Laxmi idol that she received from her mother and present it to Puneet. On receiving the idols, Puneet gets extremely emotional and teary eyed.

Dimpy's prank on Ali: From hitting off instantly with each other to recently being at loggerheads all the time, Ali Quli and Dimpy have done it all. Both the contestants never miss a chance of pulling each other's leg. Something similar happened when Dimpy got Ali's name on her chit. As a prank to take revenge, Dimpy gift wraps Ali's gift item with five layers of wrapping paper. This is not all. Inside the gift box were tissues and cosmetic items including kajal. On receiving the kajal, Ali mentions that now he would not need to steal kajal from other housemates.

Ali gifts Pritam, a perfume: Since the time Pritam's closest friend Praneet has been eliminated from the house, he's seen bonding well with co-contestant Ali Quli Mirza. We have often seen their camaraderie and the way they bring the house down together. When Ali got Pritam's name on his chit, he planned to gift few special things to Pritam. He gifted Pritam, a perfume as well as his Zara jilet (sleeveless winter jacket), since Pritam really loved the jilet and even borrowed it a couple of times in the past.

Puneet's gift for Dimpy: Since Puneet doesn't have anything that would be suitable to gift a woman, he gifts Dimpy a container of unopened cold cream which was packed by his wife for him for winter. On the other hand Upen gifts Karishma, a photo-frame of his family symbolizing that she is now a part of his family, and his positive stone since she reflects positivity. Pritam and Gautam's bonding seems to be getting stronger with each passing day and despite him packing light and not carrying adequate clothing, Pritam gifts Gautam a branded Aerosmith T-shirt.
