According to reports, Bigg Boss participant, actor and choreographer, Imam Siddiqui recently updated his status on a social networking site. His relationship status, which said engaged, got the rumour mills churning and also increased the curiosity of his fans, who poured in comments and congratulatory messages for him. Confirming the same, Imam was quoted as saying that he was indeed engaged but to his work. Imam had also recently turned down the offer to star in Bigg Boss as he thought he was being offered a price much less that what he thought he deserved. In a controversial statement of sorts, Imam has claimed that if someone whom he has taught choreography can host the show and earn Rs 1 crore for it, brand Imam commanded a better price.

While he entertained during his last stint in the Bigg Boss 8 house, Imam also stirred up a lot of controversies in the process. Let's take a look at some controversies created on the show.

Thrown out of the Bigg Boss house: Imam planned to irk Aashka Goradia who was another contestant on Bigg Boss 6. The notorious fashion stylist decided wear a skin-coloured body suit and act like a tiger. While there was a flimsy jockey that covered his bare essentials initially, after a while that came off too. When this didn't create the requisite impact, he began breaking earthenware to scare away his co-contestants. Needless to say, this didn't go down well with Bigg Boss who ordered him out of the house.

Tiff with Salman Khan: As soon as Imam Siddique came out of the Bigg Boss house, he started making tall claims to garner attention. The most outrageous statement he made was that Salman owed him money. After his eviction from the house, he posted a statement against Salman on his Facebook profile, He wrote, "As a matter of fact it was me that Salman had hired as a choreographer for a film that he was acting in and producing before he signed his first ever feature film. The actress was none other than my dear friend Ericca De Sousa Vohra and the co-producer and director was Mishal Varma. Incidentally, I am yet to be paid for that assignment. After this first ever unpleasant experience in #Bollywood, I realised I never wanted to work in Bollywood."

Controversy with Dimpy Kapur: After all the drama that was created for Bigg Boss, Imam was always embroiled in controversies. He had a major tiff with fashion blogger, Dimpy Kapur. The reason behind this too was as trivial as it gets. Apparently Imam had attended a party in the capital which the blogger didn't cover and was brave enough to admit that it was because she didn't know who he was. This infuriated Imam no end and he decided to engage in war of words with him but the blogger blocked him.
