The song, penned down by legendary lyricist Gulzar, is sung by Rekha Bharadwaj. Madhuri has once again proved that she is the only dancing goddess of Bollywood.
The last time she performed was for an item number called Ghagra for Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani, and the track was a big hit. Lets' hope this one also gets popular among her audiences and fans.
Dedh Ishqiya, is a sequel to 2010 film Ishqiya that starred Arshad Warsi, Naseeruddin Shah and Vidya Balan in the lead roles. Vidya Balan played a forgotten widow who went on engaging in a lustful bout with another man.
Madhuri Dixit is replacing Vidya, in the sequel and is playing a grey character called Begum Para. As of now, the trailer reveals that the movie is all about romantic saga of protagonists revolving around with the themes of trust and betrayal.
About the film, Madhuri Dixit was recently quoted saying that she "felt shy" to romance Naseeruddin Shah.
Dedh Ishqiya stars Madhuri Dixit Nene, Huma Qureshi, Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles. This film is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Raman Maroo and Vishal Bhardwaj.
