1) Holiday is a remake of the 2012 Tamil film Thuppakki starring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles which was also directed by A. R. Murugadoss.
2) Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha's upcoming film, 'Holiday — A Soldier Is Never Off Duty', will be releasing in almost 50 countries, including some new markets. The film will open in about 400 screens internationally, say sources.
3) Holiday makers roped in Greg Powell, who has directed action in Hollywood films like Skyfall, the Harry Potter series and The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, to achieve the realistic result.
4) Akshay essays the role of an Army officer for which Akshay lost weight to fit in the role and worked really hard to look 12 years younger.
