NUSRAT JAHAN: The ultimate final The ultimate final match should be between the two kings -The Netherlands and Germany. Needless to say, Germany will be the clear winner! My soccer superstition revolves around my favourite food - potatoes. So, whenever Germany plays, I stop having them. I have seen in the past that they win if I do that. That apart, I have to wear my lucky Germany jersey during matches and also have ice cream!

RAJ CHAKRABARTY: I'm shooting in Midnapore and there, only I and my assistant director, Bonny (also the lead actor in Barood), are supporting Brazil. We even have a separate television set and a room to watch the matches! The last time we watched the Brazil-Columbia match with the whole team, Neymar got hurt. I had told Bonny that we should watch it on our own TV, but Bonny didn't listen. So, from now on, I will watch Brazil's matches only with Bonny in our room to support David Luiz and Dani Alves.

So, while I watch Germany playing, I call my dad every 15 minutes to ensure that our favourite team wins. That is our superstition. Both Baba and I are fans of Thomas Muller, Mesut Ozil and Miroslav Klose and I'm sure they will make their team win.

MIR: I'm a huge Argentina fan. I remember, it was 1986 and Argentina had won the World Cup and some sports magazine had featured large pull-outs of Maradona. Our house had just been painted, but still, I taped his poster to a newly painted wall! The result was a tight slap from my father! But now, though my laptop wallpaper is normally my daughter's (Muskan) photo, from June 12, I replaced it with Maradona's. Argentina will be playing the semifinals after 24 years and every time a match of theirs starts, I have to look at my icon's picture. That is my superstition.

SRABANTI: Messi, Messi, Messi! The World Cup has to go to Argentina. Messi looks so intense and his smile is to die for! He plays with dedication so that the team wins. And for his tenacity and sincerity, God is surely with him. The cup will come to Argentina. I don't sit at one place when Argentina plays, as I get very tense. Moreover, whenever I sit, the other team starts dominating. So, I walk around and whenever Argentina scores, I shout at the top of my voice. One day I shouted so much after Messi's goal that I had to cancel my dubbing the next day.

I hope Arjen Robben and Robin Van Persie score goals. However, I am not superstitious about the World Cup matches. But when Mohun Bagan plays in Kolkata, I make sure I sit tight and root for the team.
