RanbirKapoor and DeepikaPadukone shared the stage to promote their forthcoming film YehJawaaniHaiDeewani. And to top it all, a catchy sequence where Deepika's character tells Ranbir's, "How do I make you understand that if I wait for two more minutes I will fall in love with you (pause) Again," further gave enough fodder to media interactions.It went so far personal that the film producer Karan Johar who is always armed with wit, had to interrupt midway and announce - "I have not invited people here for nuptials or wedding ceremony but for the film's promotion."
Interestingly, Ranbir turned out to be his ex's protective bodyguard by reprimanding those who touched upon their personal lives. When a question was posed to Deepika whether she would do a tattoo for the film's promotion, Ranbir lost his cool and said, "We go back to our parents, friends...you must respect that and have some dignity."
Most of the time Deepika maintained a stoic silence when it came to their personal life, and opened up only when she was asked whether Ranbir too pulled her leg with Ranveer Singh like Shah Rukh Khan does on the sets of Chennai Express as Deepika these days is linked to her Ram Leela co-star.
"Ranbir is so possessive about me that he doesn't like me talking about other people when he is around," said the actress.
