Before we proceed any further, a quick background on the involvement of Prince Tuli and Amit Mehra. Both were earlier to be partners on Zanjeer along with Mehra's other sons Sumeet and Puneet. However the four guys couldn't reach an amicable business arrangement. So Tuli and Amit walked out, leaving Sumeet and Puneet as partners on this film along with Reliance Big Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
Coming back to the legal notice, now Tuli has served a notice to Reliance and Apoorva asking for damages against a motorbike that belongs to him and has been used in one of the songs of the film. The notice states that the bike that belongs to Prince Tuli was borrowed by Lakhia as a friendly gesture. But was later used in the song Mumbai Ka Hero without his consent. Now, Tuli is demanding damages in this regard from the producers and Lakhia, both of who, have been served a notice.
And this is what Apoorva has to say in this context, "This is hilarious. Amit Mehra and Prince Tuli seriously need to come up with something more innovative two weeks before the release of Zanjeer. Amit Mehra (before being thrown out of the film) was the producer then and was given a few requirements for the shoot. Where he acquires the action vehicles from is not my concern, Only Amit Mehra can answer that. As far as this Prince guy is concerned, the only time I met him was when he gatecrashed my party with Amit. Tomorrow, I'll get a legal notice for eating sandwiches his wife made when he was a producer. I mean, come on...''
Saying this, Apoorva rests his case.
