"The film has got a good opening and I hope it sustains. Honestly, I didn't know how the reactions would be. The credit has to be given to everyone. One person can't claim it alone."
Though the original film, Masti, also had the same star cast (Aftab, Vivek Oberoi and Riteish Deshmukh), the actor says they are more responsible now. "We've all grown up; Riteish and Vivek are married. But that hasn't really changed our equation. We had a blast on the sets with our director Indra Kumar," he says.
Though Aftab was apprehensive about doing some scenes, he managed to pull them off with Kumar's help. "This is my boldest film and the role is way out of my comfort zone. Also, there is a very fine line between being vulgar and being funny. We've tried to be funny and people are also responding. No one has said our film is vulgar."
The best compliment however, came from a friend's 70-year-old mother. "She loved the film. We're all happy that we haven't offended anyone."
