Manoj Bajpayee gets rave reviews for 'Satyagraha'

Say Satyagraha and you come up with the names — Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Manoj Bajpayee. While the stellar star cast, most of who played the moral police to a corrupt administration, were noticed for their conscientiousness on screen, Manoj, who played the antagonist, won rave reviews too.

It was a tough call for the actor to accept the role of the bad guy when everyone around was playing Mr Goody Two-Shoes. But then, true talent always rises to the challenge and breaks ground. And, that is exactly what Manoj did.

He is happy that critics noticed his villainous streak and gave him good reviews. Whether it was Chakravyuh, Shootout At Wadala or the recent Satyagraha, this two-time National Award winner has managed to carve his own niche in films that not only boast of an ensemble cast, but also bring together respected actors like Big B and Ajay.
