The 'Badtameez Dil' singer, will croon to 'Gheun Tak' a Marathi dance number alongwith playback singer Shalmali Kholgade, in the film 'Sangharsh'. Benny who loves experimenting, took this opportunity up because of his fascination for languages. "The makers of film called me up and offered me the song, which I said yes to. I love singing in different languages. I have started learning the language and it was great fun singing the track," shared Benny.
Being paired with his 'Daaru Desi' girl Shalmali, Benny shared that it was great singing with her and their equation worked for the Marathi track. Considering a lot of Marathi filmmakers are roping in Bollywood singers to sing the tracks, we asked him if it is a good choice. "It's high time, the industry does something. I am glad I got to sing in Marathi and the makers of the film are happy with the outcome. I remember them telling me that it's hard to make out that a south Indian sang the song," he said.
